Condolences to all the Barry's on the passing of Mike. I have great memories of him from the days of Tramore Cycling Club. It was always impressive that he kept up the jogging for so long. He always had a few words, usually about sport, and he gave a smile anytime we met. May he rest in peace.

Mick was our hurling coach under 16. Sunday morning training was always hugely enjoyable. He was knowledgeable, always encouraging, always smiling. He "grew" us as a team like no other coach I can remember - a true Corinthian. In recent years he still asked after team members like it was yesterday; and he was still smiling.
