Some are fortunate to grow up with fancy houses, flash cars and posh outfits.

We were one of the lucky few that grew up with so much more. We got to live our childhood right next door to two incredible humans we call Nan and Grandi.

There to wipe away a tear, to rub a grazed knee, to tell ya pull your head in when out of line. To supply the bacon and cabbage so you never went out on the town with an empty tummy. Always there ready and waiting for the question. "Grandi will you take me to Ballyroe". With a smile in his eyes and a yes on his lips we would laugh all the way there as I filled him in on the night before.

Memories I am so blessed to have.

You are one in a million and will be missed by us all.

Know I am here with you as you make your last journey to rest. I love you with all my heart Grandi. Sleep tight all our love from NZ
