Very sad writing this. Heart goes out to all the Burkes - my adopted Irish family. Very grateful to have had the pleasure of meeting Mick, back in 2008, when myself and Liz became great friends in Oz. Mick, Betty and the family made me so welcome, every time I came to visit from Scotland and then I brought my Mum too, as she had to meet this special man and family. We clicked and laughed, sang and found out we had lived in the same area in London. It was an immense pleasure to meet you Mick. I’ll be forever thankful to have such good memories of you. Just gutted we never had a drink again after Liz’s 40th. I promise I will always be here for all your family, if they ever need anything. Rest now Michael Burke - you complete legend.
