Growing up with Michael and the Burke family in Lake Lawn, as next door neighbours, harbour many happy memories. Michael was one tough competitor as we played our childhood games around the park and over in the Quarry. This is a very sad time but memories will undoubtedly sustain you all. Meg our condolences on the passing of your Dad. When i was growing up i always was amazed by how gifted he was with his hands (including his artistic talents). I have a very early memory of him drawing me a spitfire which i can visualise as if it was yesterday. A lovely man - may he rest in peace.
