I would like to extend sincere sympathy to Mary and all the family on the untimely passing of Michael.
It was with sadness and disbelief that I heard the news, as I had only called to see him three days previously in his lovely home.
I got to know him back in the late 70s working in St Stephens Hospital, and he was always such an entertaining man to be in his company, being as he was a great communicator, with a wealth of stories to tell.
Later on this was exemplified on outings with St Stephens Golfing Society, where on the Golf Course he was always so encouraging.
He will be missed - and not just by me.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.
