Dear Bronagh, Sorry to hear of the death of Michael. My condolences to you and the rest of your family.
Dear Kay and Family. I have been so so saddened by the passing of your beloved Michael. I cannot tell you how much I admired, respected and indeed loved him. I served for a decade with him as Co Chair of the Nuclear Free Local authority . I was so proud to share that role with him from across the Border. Our conviction on the danger of nuclear power and its military application brought us together in a very special way. To me, Michael was above all I man of peace who saw through the spurious politics of coersion. He was a proud South Down man too and I am sure all of Warrenpoint is with you in sympathy as I am myself. His work with NFLA will be remembered and will make a difference for many years to come. Ar dheist de go raibh a anam dilis. Mark Dearey. Omeath and Dundalk. Formerly Louth County Council.
