We are so sad and can’t stop thinking of him. It was a pleasure and a privilege to know Michael. He will be greatly missed by us all. There’s a corner in Leinster House Alvor that now has his smiling face in a photo hanging over his favourite seat. Our condolences to Claire and Carroll family. Deepest sympathy to Claire and all the Carroll family on the sad passing of Michael. I was a great friend of Michael in Newbridge between 1986 and 1989. What a brilliant character. I was delighted when Michael agreed to bring my wife Teresa to our wedding ceremony on the 18/08/1990.
Anytime I hear his song " Where do you go to my lovely" , I will always remember your brilliant rendition.
