Michael was one of the many nephews & nieces of my grandfather, Patrick J Collins, who emigrated to America in 1915 at the age of 20 & was born in Deroober. My first contact with any cousin of mine was Julia Hickey. The rest, as they say, is history. God granted me the privilege in meeting all of my cousins over the years. But in one of my many trips to Ireland, it was Micheal & his brother Pat who showed me, along with the Kelly cousins, the true beauty of the country my gf left behind.
Michael, I will NEVER forget the kindness & love you displayed & gave to me. Give hugs to all your siblings from me, and someday I will see all of you again. RIP, Michael, you all are often thought of but never forgotten!!
