We were very sorry to learn of Mick’s passing and of being unable to attend his funeral. It was always a pleasure to meet him whether in earlier years in Leinster Marts, Kilgowan or during his retirement in his beloved sanctuary at Narraghmore bog.

His memories of years gone by, working in Blackrath were fascinating to listen to and highlighted a long life well lived. He was a gentleman, who will be greatly missed. Deepest sympathy to Joe, Maisie, Brian and the extended Conlan family. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam
