I am deeply saddened by the news of your leaving us for good Mick - I was looking forward of your coming to the Philippines when you told me that you plan to come this December - until now I am still in shock. I was looking forward to meet you again after 10 years - your sincerity, kindness, warmth and wisdom when I came to you for advice, your laughter when we were together in Kosovo are the memories I am keeping and will forever keep..wherever you are, always remember that you have carved a special place in my heart and the hearts of those whose lives you touched...till we meet again Mick and I am sure you are at peace and happy in your journey...I and my kids will always treasure you - the great Michael Conlon....my sincere sympathy to your family - I grieve together with you...

I am deeply sad and filled with sorrow to hear of Mick's passing. I met Mick in Kenya 13 years ago. He always gave me hope and encouragement. He was a good man. His kindness, generosity and selflessness was unmatched. Rest in peace Mick, you left too soon without having our planned coffee. To your family, may God give you the grace to endure the deep loss. My thoughts are with you.
