I was saddened to hear just today that Michael had passed from this world. Michael was always the most kind and helpful of neighbours both to our family and indeed to many of our visiting friends during the years when we were just up the forest road at Tourmakeady Lodge. We send our heartfelt condolences to Mary, Sinéad, Danny, Aoife and Gary and their extended families.

I was so sad to hear of Mike’s passing. He spent a lot of time working with my dad (Donal) in the office and in the forestry at Drummin wood, Foxford and was a great family friend. My mom Nora loved her chats with Mike when he shared a cup of coffee with her. I remember his German shepherd Fritz who often visited our house with Mike. May Mike’s gentle soul rest in peace.
