Michael was always a great friend and always so kind and welcoming to everyone. He held the door open to qds for us everyday and always welcomed us with a smile. Always had a story and the craic was to be had.

I began working with Michael 20 years in the woodwork Department in QDS he was great to work over all the years.I have many memories of Michael we talked about sports we loved our chat and banter sometimes we're talking too much we'd forget the works has to be done.One memories I am fond of is Michael asking about putting up dart board in sanding room as he always talks about dart specially with few people in the woodwork dept.While working with Michael we travelled to Munster Ireland matches which I will missed as he good fun at the match chatting with other fans no matter if they strangers or not joining in on cheering and enjoying the laughter.I will missed you a lot Michael over the years you became good friend.You were gentleman and brilliant character always making everyone laugh
