So sorry to have heard the news, firstly of Mike's poor health, and then the sad news that he passed away. I had the pleasure of being there the day of your wedding, and it was a great day. A great man, with a great presence. The poetry was beautiful at the funeral.. Treasure those words.

So very sorry to hear the news of micks passing.

Mr Cummins was such a nice person. He had a passion for Irish History that was awe inspiring. He was always had a twinkle in his eye, a private joke? I suppose being one of two male teachers in an all girls boarding school is pretty comical. Definitely a Saint to have put up with us. Condolences to his family for such a great loss.

Very sad to hear of Mr Cummins passing. He was a truely lovely man and a wonderful teacher. He taught me English in 5th & 6th year and encouraged my love of the English language, which lead me to study English Literature in University.

So sad to hear of Mr. Cummins passing. I have many great memories of him teaching History and English class but even better memories of him stopping to give me a lift to school when I missed the bus. Always a gentleman with a great sense of humor. Sincere sympathies to his family.

I was so saddened to hear of Mr Cummins passing, I have so many fond memories of him both in the classroom and as a coach on the pitch - he had the patience of Jobe to put up with all of us teenage girls ,always kind and gentle. So sorry to hear of his death, in school he told me not to take learning for granted and it made me study. I developed a great love for English literature with him as teacher and have fond memories of him from school. He was a true gentleman always friendly and chatty when I've met him since school too.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr Cummins passing. He was a wonderful teacher and a very kind, gentle man. For those of us who were far away from home, he was a great comfort. How he kept so calm surrounded by all those temperamental girls I'll never know ! My thoughts are with his family.

Mr Cummins was a legend! He never failed to keep us on our toes and entertained at the same time. Whether it was history, maths or geography or indeed his vice principal duties he always did it with pride. Rest in peace Mr Cummins, you were a true gent.

So upset to hear of Mr Cummins' (Michael's) passing. He was a lovely, gentle soul and an inspiration as a teacher. He was also my personal 'champ' and got me through state exams at a shortcut, all the while instilling in me a great sense of history. Sadly, I didn't have a chance to get back to him to tell him how much he influenced me. Michael, know that every holiday of worth that I have had is built around the historical end. Thank you. I was a student of Mr Cummins from 1993 to 1998. So sad to her the news of his passing. I have great memories of hurling stories in geography class! He was a true gentleman.
