I have met Michael several times since September 2023 and recently I had the pleasure and honor to head on an interims basis the Road Freight Product where Michael belonged to. I appreciated the talks with Michael, his expertise as much as his warm hearted way and - his sense of humor- even knowing that his personal situation was more than serious. I think these ingredients are the most important ones in life and Michael was more than matching them. I wish you the strength to come along with your loss.

I learned of Michael's death with tears in my eyes and would like to express my sincere condolences.

I had the great honor of being able to call Michael my brother-in-law for a while. During his time in Ahrweiler and Osnabrück, we had many wonderful moments and were able to laugh about life.

That Michael has now passed away far too soon fills me with deep sadness.

I will always remember him as a generous, humorous, and sincere friend. I wish you all strength and positive support in these difficult times.
