A wonderful kind caring devoted dad, a oerfect gentleman. I loved my visits with Michael when I vas home and tracing back on old times. He will be grately missed by everyone who knew him. My sympathies to Michael’s partner Dorothy, sons Micheál and Pádraig, daughter Sinéad, daughters-in-laws Viki and Jeanette, son-in-law Scott and grandchildren Matthew, Stephen, Liam and Niamh, relatives, neighbours and friends.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Michael in person, I would have spoken to him on the phone. While other families would have given their address as Limerick Road Michael was one person who was very proud to have lived on the Clare Road. Sadly I will never get the opportunity to learn more of what he knew of the road and it’s people.
