Michael Desmond RINGROSE

It is with great sadness that I have just learned of the passing of my mums first cousin Desmond Ringrose. Too late to attend the funeral as my mother in law passed unexpectedly the same day. We have great memories of Desmond and Bernice and the wonderful family they have. May his gentle soul rest in peace. Love from his first cousin Carole Lane and the extended kane and Elaine , Pat and Eoin ‘Toole family .

I have many memories of my first cousin Des from his Limerick and Dundrum days. Condolences to Dolores and Claire and all the family.

Dear Aidan, thank you for the beautiful eulogy you gave on behalf of all the family to Bernice and Des. Bernice and Des were great friends and much loved golfing pals of my late mum and dad, Jim and Eilis in KIlliney Golf Club, and when their golfing exploits wound down their attention focussed on grandchildren especially those being capped for Senior International Rugby!!! Louise, I am so sorry to hear of Des's passing. He was friendly with my Dad in the army and my Dad asked him to give me a riding lesson when I was just 13 yrs old, to give me the dirtiest horsey jobs and that would sort me out. It certainly did, Des did just that, invited me back the next day and I worked with him, morning noon and night all school holidays for the next 4 years when my Dad bought my first pony. I still always have a horse - 57 years later and have so much to thank Des for. God bless him, Bernice and all of the Ringrose family.
