I have just today heard of Michael's passing and am so very sorry for your loss.

I had many dealings with Michael for a number of years when he was a Councillor for the South East Area.

He was an absolute gentleman, was so appreciative always and had a great smile to greet you at every meeting!

In what is a notoriously cut-throat profession, Michael never lowered his standards of decency, and enjoyed respect across party lines for that.
