R.I.P. Mick, ...he had great chats with us in Rathfanham Castle on Sundays about all sorts of things over the years, especially music. Loved his sense of humour and anecdotes on life. He was both inspiring and helpful to me, and I know also to many who met him over the years. He will be missed and celebrated for some time to come. Much love and condolences to all his family.

We are so sorry to learn of Mick's death. He was a gentleman and great company at many of our family gatherings, full of good humour and with lots of stories to tell. So sorry to for your loss Jacinta. Mick was the first person to welcome us on the street and made us feel at home right away even making us a bird house for our garden.

Always great to stop for a chat and you always left with a great story. A real gentlemen who we’ll miss greatly.

I met Michael in the late 90s and we hit it off straight away. We had some fantastic chats. We would meet on Wednesdays at the Mater hospital where he was doing charity work and we'd have a bite to eat. I had the privilege of Michael's world class blues harp playing supporting me doing my songs and doing gigs for charity together. A true gentleman and a great friend I will dearly miss him. My sympathies to you Jacinta and to all Michael's family and friends.
