It's very sad to hear of Michael's passing. He was a long time and hard working talented member of Lucan Drama...a great director who produced several plays, built sets, and was a very good actor. Condolences to the Dowling family on the passing of Michael. Michael was a maestro at stage directing. The community of Kilmoganny and beyond were fortunate to have you and Patricia come live among us. Michael had a magical way of transforming actors. Such was his majesty he successfully had young actors play characters two or three times their age. It worked. It always worked. Michael what made it work was your attention to detail. No stone was left unturned when it came to each character in the play and each scene. You had vision and made sure we fell into line with that. Michael you have exited stage left and I for one am most grateful I got to experience and benefit from your direction. Rest Easy my friend and mentor.
