Michael Duffin

Sending sincere condolences to the Duffin Family. I only heard this sad news today. I knew Michael from his days working in Hertz. I miss his humorous emails. I had the pleasure of meeting him once at Ballykelly Church a few years ago and realised that I knew some of his relatives. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Michael was an inspiration to everyone who graced the ground of horeswood playing field. He was a true gentleman and would often say when watching an under age game " keep an eye on him he'll make a good one". It was a true reflection of the man he really was by the huge crowd that turned out to say farewell to one of Horeswood's greatest. If we ever needed inspiration to win another county title, then this is the year to do it, not only for us but in honour of Michael Duffin and G A A.ledgend.May Michael's gentle soul now and forever rest in eternal peace.Ar dheis de go raibh a ainm.
