It was with great sadness I learnt of Uncle Mick's passing .To me he was such a gentle and kind man with a big heart .In many ways he reminded me so much of Jack (Grandad) not only in looks and demeanour but with great personality and humour .He will be missed

Dear Aunt Maura and cousins
We learnt with great sadness of the passing of our lovely uncle Mick.
Our mum, Lil (RIP) adored her handsome "little" brother and relished spending time with him when he was in England on business - she would send out for Swiss Roll and banish us to the park, so she could have him to herself. She was so proud of him and boasted to everyone about his intellect and achievements.
Myself and Martha have very fond memories of a holiday we spent with you in the late 60's when you lived in England. We loved playing out with Sean and Michael in the fresh Staffordshire air; Manchester in those days was full of dirty factories. You looked after us with such care and spoilt us terribly - something we never forgot.
We are thinking of you and send you all our love at this difficult time.
