To Carol and Una, Michael's beloved grandchildren, the extended family and all who mourn Michael's passing from this life, I extend my deepest sympathies. Michael was a founder member of the New Springtime Community and I enjoyed many years of interaction with him. May Michael now rest in the eternal light of the risen Lord Jesus. May you all find comfort, strength and support in the Lord and from the many people who esteemed Michael.

Marion and I have known Michael and Clare RIP for the last 50 + years years and have always cherished their good company and hospitality what with, Michael's Northern wit and his ever-present good-humour. Michael was a very religious and devout man who sought out what it means to be a Christian and no doubt is now rewarded by being safe in the hands of God. We mourn his great loss and those he has left behind, his daughters, Carol and, Una, his sister Teresa, his sister-in-law Therese and Brother in law Aaron, his grandchildren, and all his relatives. May his good soul rest in peace.

To the Fairley family, so sad to hear of Micheal's death. I worked for him in Irishenco from 1978 to when he retired. Always a fair and, in my case, compassionate man who understood the value of family more than anything else.
You have been measured and not found wanting.

Michael bore his declining health with courage and dignity. He will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him.

We enjoyed many, many great evenings with himself and Clare being entertained in their own home and at the home of his sister-in- law, Marie-Thérèse.
