Dear Sinéad,Kate and Saoirse,

How do we begin to capture the magic that Michael brought to our lives.
He was such a source of joy and happiness to us all. Just passing him as he pulled out of the driveway would put a smile on our faces and make us feel all was right with the world.
Mick was always there in an emergency and when he wasn’t coming to our rescue he was arranging another brilliant night out with friends (in the good pink shirt) or he was organising some mad event on the west coast with high mountains or boggy fields (preferably both) or he was throwing our Nora in the air and catching her in those big arms.

We were blessed to call this wonderful man our neighbour, work mate and most of all dear friend.

I got to know Mick working on Sorohan building sites and later again playing against him on the Gaelic field. A very decent man and someone to look up to.

As someone without a brother you, Sean and Joe were always men I looked up to and admired. Generous to a fault, great craic to be around and you looked after your Mammy. We will think of you always in years to come.

Mick was a very warm and kind person with a great sense of fun and banter.
Mick was very welcoming to me when I joined St Judes in 1998 and we had many great days, on and off the field.
I know Mick was a great GAA man and he was very proud to be coaching his daughter's team in Kilmacud Crokes.
Mick is a great loss to all his family, relations, many friends and people he knew. However, Mick has left such a wonderful legacy to all of us, fortunate enough to have known him.

Only heard today about the sad passing of Mick, the Bull.
Had many a battle against him on the pitch and my father got to know him recently through the cards.
