I’m so sorry to hear about Micks passing. I’m truly devastated for all his family. A master craftsman in a class of his own and a kind, generous man who was great fun. Heartbroken for him

Mick was an absolute gentleman to my mother at a time when she really needed it. I didn't know Mick beyond the amazing work he did for us but I could see he was a quality person with a big heart. My sincere condolences to all of his family and friends...may he rest in peace.

Mick was so precious to Mikey & me. I can't imagine his family's pain & bewilderment now he's suddenly gone. He adored you all - that glint in his eye, all mischief, stories & laughter - when he spoke of Elaine, love of his life, & his beautiful brood. He never refused a good cuppa, nor shied away from risky challenges or impossible missions. Kindness walking - Mick always had our backs - fiercely sometimes - wherever/ whenever we worked together - & we had his. We're robbed and devastated - I'd love to have seen him one last time, hold his hard hands (crooked aul thumb) that coaxed magic out of wood. He's with us every day: we open drawers, close shutters, chop veg or serve up in our sleek kitchen, every night I hang up my hat - every lost lonely moment, I turn on his light. We're blessed to have the work of his hands literally under our touch, always. His quiet, caring, attentive presence was disarming & charming - our many clients, wise & lucky enough to benefit from the gifts of this radical visionary - they will also remember him for many generations. But his unique commitment to sheer perfection moved every one he worked with in real time, in real life. He made us better people. He showed us the value of dreams. He gave his whole soul to each painstaking second - turning imperfect whims to sophisticated, exquisite masterpieces. Not carpenter, joiner, maker or craftsman: Mick was an ARTIST. But also a gentleman, papa & friend. See you soon head. love the bones of ya. x
