Dear Carmel and family
I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Michael. I have great memories of Michael in Sancta Maria. He was a wonderful teacher, and my memory of him playing soccer after school in my first year will always stick out. You always had the feeling he was looking out for you.

I was so sorry to hear the sad news of your loss Carmel and family. Michael, or Mr Featherston as I will always remember him, is the reason I trained to be an accountant. He made a very dry leaving cert subject sound like a fantastic career. I was lucky he taught me. I am sure you will have thousands of great memories to sustain you. David Heneghan
