Our sincere condolences 🙏 to Marian and family .on Micks passing. A gentleman.

As a club and as individual members, we are deeply saddened by Mick’s passing. As groundskeeper, Captain, President and member, he contributed significantly to club life; he always had a smile and a welcome for people of all ages. Those who had the pleasure to know him are recounting many happy stories and we will miss his joviality, kindness and fun - as well as the Lotto delivery and his general knowledge of sport and movies. On behalf of Glasnevin Lawn Tennis Club, it’s members and committee, we extend our sincerest condolences to Marian and the rest of the Finglas family.
We know he had a good send-off, now may he Rest In Peace

Only heard of Mick's passing shocked and saddend Iam , I went to school and played football with him. A long time ago I had the pleasure of being on crutches at the same time as Mick what a sight it was tow of us hobbling up the strand . Someone said Mick would dive on glass ha ha I can tell you he did .My deep condolence to all your family may you rest in peace Mick.
