An outstanding golfer, it was our good fortune to have him as a much valued member and associated with our Golf Society over the last 50 years He was always a true gentleman, both on and off the golf course , and he will be sadly missed. Rory and all the Fitzpatrick family. I was really sorry and shocked [having spoken to him quite recently] to hear of Michael's death. He was always a gentleman. Our paths first crossed 39 years ago in Ennis and continued to do so periodically, but quite regularly since his appointment as CPO Arbitrator. May he Rest in Peace. My thoughts are with you.
