Michael Flood was my uncle and my dads brother. I don't have many memories of my uncle Mike but one stands out and that is at a park with my friend Rick playing with hurling sticks that my Auntie Margaret and uncle Tom Scully had brough over in 1976. My friend Rick and I used to go to the park on occasion and hit the ball between us seeing who could hit further. When Uncle Mike was over, he came over to the park with us and we played "hurling" with uncle Mike trying to get the ball off of us. He tried unsuccessfully as we were young and...well he was older. A fond memory and I wish to express my condolences to all those that knew him. Rest in peace uncle Mike.

One gentle nice guy. RIP.
Rest in peace
We are very sorry to hear about the passing of Michael, a wonderful neighbour to us on Brookville Park. We would often have a chat while he tended to his lovely garden which he took such pride in. He had a fantastic work ethic, often up very early to drive the buses, which he enjoyed. He was a gentleman and will be much missed.
Sincere sympathy to the Flood Family on the sad passing of Michael.
May he Rest In Peace.
