So sad to hear this news. We enjoyed meeting Michael and his wife Rita for many years at the Crown Of Crucis hotel near Cirencester during Cheltenham Festival week. Michael always loved to chat about the Racing and football. RIP Michael

Sorry to hear that Michael has passed away. He was a super sports broadcaster, knowledgeable, professional and entertaining. His voice was meant for radio and his commentaries were the backdrop to many of my sporting memories.
