Very sorry to learn of the passing of Michael. I remember him lining out with the green and gold of Ballinamore and Leitrim. A top class gentleman and a footballer who gave his all. Deepest sympathy to his wife and family. May he rest in peace.

He was a fine footballer for Lovely Leitrim when that County had one of their best teams ever. Michael with JimmyO’Donnell formed one of Ireland’s best Mid field partnerships.
