Very sad to hear about Micks death. I sheared the house in Parteen with Mick. He had a really great sense of humour, and a wonderful free spirit. I have often spoken to my children about Mick. What memories. The light of heaven to Mick.

Mick was the lead vocalist in our beat group THE BLUEBEATS back in the late 60's. We had some great gigs from a residency at a hotel in Kilkee to regular gigs at THE FRANA'S.
Mick was a gentle soul and my sincerest sympathy to his beloved family. May he rest in peace.

In my youth I got to know mick very well as we both frequented the Shakespeare bar , if there was a sing song he sang , if we were in tears laughing he was the cause of it , a great character and a man who would always look after his friends in lean times . One of limericks greatest , rip my old friend.
