We cousins from the other side of the pond are so sad to learn of Michael's passing. We wish we could be there in person this week to share in both your mourning his death and celebrating his life. Michael was such a gentle man, ever the kind, welcoming host when we've visited over the years. We will cherish his memory, and we hope that your own happy memories of healthy Michael will help to sustain you i this time of grief.

My deepest sympathies to you Lily and to Ger, Michael, Pat, Raymond & Elizabeth and all the extended family. You more than anyone else know that we have lost a great man today; the perfect "gentleman" is the word that I am hearing expressed most often, the one who loved first and foremost his family, his Church and his community. He will be missed. May God have mercy on his soul.
