Your father was a good man. May his soul rest in peace.

Sending you all lots of love as you celebrate the life of your Father. I will always remember him for his big, beaming smile when he would welcome us into the house, he was a lovely man and a true gentleman. May he rest in peace.

I am extremely saddened about the passing of Michael Ryan he was a gentleman and I always met him and Margaret Ryan at Leopardstown race course another passion of mine apart from tennis, he was always very kind to let use there tennis court I organised many singles and doubles-had many a battle with the Avonmore residents, he had a horse in a syndicate called Grease paint we often talked about Cheltenham. Ryan family were a lovely family, I was very fond of Suzanne, Grainne and Roisin and I often helped her on the tennis court. Mr Ryan was in the winner’s enclosure as Husband, Father, grandfather and as a neighbour, I will say a few prayers and light a candle for you all.

My heartfelt condolences. I know Michael was very unwell in recent months but one can never truly prepare for a final goodbye to a much loved husband, father, father-in-law, granddad, brother, cousin and friend. Sending love and strength to all who knew, loved and cared about Michael. If I may, I'd like to add my own thanks to the dedicated professionals who looked after Michael as his health declined and who enabled him to pass peacefully; this will have been an enormous comfort to the family.
