Michael Gerard (Mick) Tennyson

Sincere condolences to all of Mick's family on his sad passing.
I knew Mick first back in the 80's in Ireland when Dublin and Kildare met in the hurling.
We met up again in New York when we both played hurling with Limerick and we won the championship.
Mick was a great character and great fun to be around. A pleasure to have known him.

I offer my sincere condolences to Eileen and the Tennyson Family on the untimely passing of Mick. I worked with Mick in the OSI in the late 1970s when we were chaps, enjoying our hurling and football and the “craic”. Mick was a gentleman off the field and a divil while on it. We worked together in Ordnance Survey and we also played football together. Great and fond memories of him through the years. He was a great character, a great sportsman and great company He knew everyone and everyone knew him. He never changed. A great man. Rest in peace Mick, you won’t be forgotten.

R. I. P. Dear Michael. I knew Michael back in the 70s when we were both in school. I attended his debs with him. Such a kind man who had time for everyone. Can't believe he has passed. My sincere condolences to his wife, children, grandchildren. His sisters and brother whom I remember well. I ofton stand at Michael's Mum and Dad's grave to say a prayer as they are close to my own Mam's grave. I'm sure all in Kilbarrack who knew him will be saddened at this news.
