Michael was such a kind neighbour to all and especially to Tommie, we will never forget his kindness & his commitment to calling in every morning to light the fire & bringing in the turf to last the day & returning in the evening to restock and check in on Tommie.
May you be rewarded in heaven, Michael & rest in the peace of the Risen Lord. You will be greatly missed.

I am lost for words on the passing of Michael, a great next door neighbour, and in later years when down in Drumrahill I would often meet Michael on the road mostly in his car..and he would roll down the window, cut off the engine and settle in for a big chat...Heartfelt sympathy and love to Eileen, Donal, Eva, Aidan, Aine and Sean and families and all the extended Gildea family....may Michael's gentle soul Rest in Eternal Peace ❤️
