Condolences to Michael’s family, he has always been a nice, polite and caring man, I still remember the first day meeting Michael in hospital, it is my pleasure to know this beautiful person in my life. May he rest in peace and wish all his friends and family are well and healthy. It is a tough time for his family especially for his wife Bernie, please take care of yourself.

We were deeply saddened to hear of Michael’s passing. Our sincere condolences to Bernie, and especially to Michael Jr., whom we watched grow from his earliest kindergarten days at Rathgar Junior School. It was at the school gates that I, along with so many other mums and dads, came to know Michael Snr, and there was surely no father more proud of, or devoted to, his family.

I met Michael regularly over the years, often while out walking our dogs, and he remained unchanged throughout: a gentle man with a most generous nature, and never a cross word. He will be greatly missed.

I’m shocked & saddened to hear of Michael’s death.

Met him a couple of times when walking his dog.
Always a pleasant & genuinely nice man, as are All his Family.

His exceptionally nice Dad, John, was one of our Beautiful neighbours opposite the Orwell Lodge Hotel.
The banter & chats between him & his family ( in the Lounge) were lively, particularly when discussing Tipp sport.
They respectfully called him “Boss”.
