Michael Harrington

Such tragic news which I only heard recently. Michael was full of life’s bonhomie and I am proud to say I knew him when I lived in Dublin. My sincere condolences to all his family and friends.

I met Michael and enjoyed his company in the last few years in his capacity as a Mentor on the Trinity MBA - indeed, his evident managerial ability shone through when he did his own MBA a few years before. Sadly, as cousins we never caught up face to face but had the intention to do so last year on our annual trip to Ireland, but timing wasn't good. We are in Ireland hopefully next July and I will make a visit to the cemetery to pay my respects. Rest in Peace Michael, your cousin Chris McCarthy from New Zealand.

I was so sad to hear of Mike's very untimely death. I have very happy memories of the great fun we had working together in Jones Lang in the early days, a weekend trip on a Shannon cruiser with about 12 of us particularly come to mind!
