He was a gent and character. I used enjoy his council stories especially the Michael Collins statue one. May heaven be his bed.

Saddened to see of Michael's passing on RIP, one of the Street Sweepers of Clonakilty. What a true gentleman, he made time for everyone he met as he sang his way through his job. Great memories of Michael, Vera & the family coming in to Centra Clonakilty when I worked there a good few years ago. The visit always ended with a laugh & a joke to be had. Also many a great night was had in the Brewery Bar next door. Michael would entertain the crowd singing his own songs & laughter along the way.
