I have many a fond memory of him, from when Helen, Halimah & I went to ballet in the village, played at your house & Granny Bogan's too on Fridays. They were special days. Years later, by chance, I met your beloved Dad at a charity function I was attending with work, I can recall clearly he was so dapper in his suit and dickie bow & I was delighted to see a friendly familiar face. He asked me out to waltz. He glided and I kept up, but in my defense my legs were shorter & I wasn't nearly as skilled, but it is my fondest standout memory of a fun and thoroughly gentle, gentleman. I was in the same class as Michael (then known as Ray) in Newtown School way back in the day! I last saw him at one of our reunions a number of years ago.
