I have fond menories of him and had the good fortune to have met him in the not to distant past. He had'nt changed and remained the same genuine, sincere and good guy he always was. I was truly saddened to hear of Henry’s sad passing. I got to meet Henry many years ago, when he fitted a kitchen in a house on Rahin Rd. I was an instant fan of his craftsmanship. Unfortunately it’s a long way to Tipperary and being as talented as Henry was, demands for his work were high locally, at the time and so regrettably my dream kitchen never materialised. However, I still get to admire his work on visits to the house in Ballylinan where he regularly got a mention. I will always remember Henry for his good humour and sense of fun as well as his outstanding work. My sincere condolences to his wife and sons and extended McDonald families. May you rest in eternal peace Henry McDonald.
