So terribly sorry to hear of Michael Howe’s passing, He was my teacher between 1976 and 1978.
He started me on a career in engineering all those years ago, and I’ve remained there ever since.
I would often see him when he was out walking and I always made my way over to him to ask him how he was doing. A firm handshake and a bright smile, it was always a pleasure to meet him.
A scholar and a true gentleman, always ready to help and to guide, he shaped the lives of so many people.

My sincere sympathy to all the Howe family at this sad time, May he rest in peace.
