It is with great sadness that I have heard of the passing of 'Mike' Punch,a man larger than life and a man who has inspired so many people. Much of what I have tried to do in my life has been built on the confidence acquired in my brief period with Mike at MP & P in the eighties. He had that inate ability to create something from nothing, he facilitated me and many others to progress their careers and lives in a time of economic difficulties.
'Sue us for all we have, our assets are between our ears!' is a quote that resounds in my head from those heady times. On behalf of myself and my sister Anne I'd like to convey our sincere condolences to his family and all at MP&P at this sad time. I hope to bring value to Mike's input by doubling my efforts to make a difference in the world and when I reach my end I hope to have accomplished a fraction of the great work that Mike has done in his life.

My sympathy to all the family. I only got to know Michael in the past two years. He was a gentleman.

To Patty and all the Punch family. I would like to pass on my condolences to you all. I have known Michael for many years and he was a true gentleman. We had many discussions about Limerick Hurling and especially Kilmallock. Will always think of him fondly.

My sympathies to the Punch family and to those at Michael Punch and Partners. I had the privilage of working for a number of months in MPP and will remember his generosity.
