So sorry to hear only today of Jack passing. Lovely memories of Jack a great friend of our Dad Paddy Collins. Jack used to visit Dad & Mum every Wednesday and the two chatted away with a whiskey… My deepest sympathy to all of Jacks family. A lovely gentleman may Jack rest in peace🙏

Very sorry to hear of Jack's passing, a legend of a man. Still remember very clearly going to their house on a Sunday evening for apple tart and tea (and getting the fear when the Glenroe music would come on). The last time I had the pleasure of speaking to him was at Aoife's wedding and he was an absolute gentleman. Rest in peace Mr. Cronin.

Bernard Noel and families, Deepest Sympathies from your former neighbour at No. 1 Assumption Place Skibbereen. You meet some great people in life and Jack was one in a million. I met him several years ago at a soccer match in Cork he was talking about Skibbereen as if it was only yesterday. The longer we live the harder it is to part with them. It was always a pleasure to meet him as we did at Family events over the years, he was always so energetic.

His photo reminds me of first meeting him nearly 60 years ago, a life well lived.
