Dear Dean, Lindsey & all the Martin family,
It is with great sadness that we hear of Michael John’s passing.
Michael John as he was affectionately known to us all “he didn’t need a car number” will be sorely missed by all his colleagues and many friends at Satellite Taxis and the wider taxi community in Cork.
He was a gentleman and a credit to our industry in how he went about his work.

I am so sorry for your loss, Dean, Lindsey, Lorraine, Rachel, and all the family.

Michael John was such a quiet but incredibly funny man, and it was clear to everyone how much he adored his family. Some of my favourite memories are all of us gathering at Nan’s house on a Sunday, laughing for hours, reminiscing about the old days, and listening to the jokes he always had ready for us.

We would always end up chuckling at the stories he told about what happened along his taxi routes too — he had a brilliant way of telling them that made everyone smile.😊

Those moments will always stay with me. He will be deeply missed, and I will always remember the laughter and warmth he brought to our family.
