I am very sad to hear the news of Michael's passing. Michael was an absolute gentleman and a pleasure to work with. My sincere sympathies are with Michaels' family.

So so sorry to hear about your loss of Michael. He was a genuine gentleman with immense intellect and integrity and a fantastic dry wit and is missed by all.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Michael's passing. I crewed with Michael over many years in both dinghies and cruisers and learned an incredible amount from him both in terms of technical knowledge but more importantly in terms of temperament and attitude. He was the calmest person I have ever known when under pressure and kind to the nth degree. His love of his family and children was always abundantly evident for ever one to see. My deepest condolences to Deirdre, Emily Ronan and family.

I am very sorry to hear this sad news. I had the pleasure of learning how t sail with Michael during the Summer. I absolutely loved it. Michael taught me so much. I had a lovely morning on the both with Michael and Emily. On the first occasion we stopped and had a little break. Michael gave me a mini roll. Every single time I see one now I'll think of him.
