I worked with Joe through the 1990's in Dublin; a very traditional, learned, respectful, courteous gentlemen.
I cannot recall a single instance of Joe being criticised by one of his work colleagues; my condolences to his family and friends, may he rest in peace.

My great grandmother was Marie Lowther. She was married to my Great Grandfather, Richard McAndrew (also my fathers name) She would have been a grandaunt of Joe.
Also, my mother was Brigid McHale, a next door neighbor of Lowther family in Rathglass.

Very sad to hear of uncle Joe's passing. I have nothing but happy memories of him in my childhood in Roselawn Close. He was a hugely happy person and a light to all around him. Deeply sympathies to Mai, Andrea and Raymond at this difficult time. May he rest in peace.
