Dear Maura and Joyce family.
Truly sorry to hear about Michael's sad passing. He will be sadly missed...such a lovely, genuinely kind and warm man who had a word for everyone. He loved being out and about and it was always a pleasure to meet him and have a word and the craic. His last years must have been so difficult, a hard cross. However we always remember Michael with his beautiful smile. Sadly missed.

I first met Mike while attending the races representing Galway Bay fm Sports Department. He was the most hospitable host and always greeted me and my colleagues with a big, big smile and with his warm personality shining and glowing. We remained friends and always enjoyed our encounters. My sincere condolences to the family, no doubt you are heartbroken by the loss of such a special person. May his kind and gentle soul rest in eternal peace.
