To Mike's family and friends I wish to transmit my thoughts and prayers in these trying moments. Despite the fact that I could not for purely geographical reasons see Mike more often than I would have desired, he remained a very special friend and his visits to Arlon were always occasions of great joy and celebration.

We are so deeply upset at Michael's sudden and untimely death. Time and again Michael demonstrated his wonderful capacities and adventurous spirit - not least his ability to surprise by popping up anywhere in the world! He was great company and a loyal friend. We all loved him and will miss him so much. We are praying for him, for his family and friends at this difficult time. His ever interested and jocund soul is now with Baha'u'llah in its purest state.
