Michael Kavanagh

Ah Mick. That man was so loved. By so many people. Not just his close family, but friends, acquaintances, swimmers, passers by he just met. His smile, his twinkling eyes, his style, his stories... he was charm personified. His nature that was both joyful and had a large dollop of bauldness thrown in. Alongside his openness and compassion. What a mix. No wonder he was so loved. A life well lived. Deepest sympathies to Noeline, Ian, Mark, Sandra and all of his adored grandchildren. May he Rest in Peace. xx

So sorry to hear about Mick. We loved Granny Ann & Mick's visits as kids & even later in life. Their visits made us feel so special. Mick gave you a big hug and beamed as if you made his day. He was always in good humour. The usual slagging about Man U vs Liverpool always had to be had. He was absolute gem. We're both in Australia now so can't be there in person but thinking of you all at this sad time & send our love xx
