Paul, We are so sorry to hear that Michael has passed away, our sincere condolences to you and all of your family at this very difficult time.
Rest easy in the arms of the angels Michael. You were one of lifes true gents. Your welcoming smile and hugs every week made my Thursdays in the Holy Family Parish Centre the best part of my week. I can still see you sitting on the step in the sun greetings everyone that passed by. If you weren't at the step, the first question that was asked when going into the centre was where's Michael, followed by wheres Jessie.
You were the best man always by Jessie's side day and night aka Jessie's side kick. A bond like no other xx Loved beyond words.
Queung to get your apple tart from Clarkes for the last time this week was heartbreaking. The students and I shared the apple tart with a cup of tea in your honour. And placed your last piece of apple tart with you, while you made your final journey yesterday.
Michael you will always be held in such high regard for all your hardwork and commitment to the HFPC and the whole community. Our deepest condolences to your family and the whole community of Dublin 7 and the HFPC.
It has been an honour to work with you for over 20 years and be a treasured friend who became family. I can still hear you saying Gerry hurry up we need to get out on time tonight, the match is on. And we'd run up Prussia St to head home so you could watch the match.
Forever loved and forever missed our dear friend. Love you lots like jelly tots Michael xxxxxx

You probably never realised how you impacted so many lives, staff, public all thought so highly of you. Keep sharing the love and kindness in the next part of your journey.

From the time I first stepped into the Holy Family Parish Centre, Michael greeted me with his beaming smile, as he greeted everyone. He was an integral part of the loyal, etended family who worked there or used the vast range of services over the years. Theres nobody's heart that Michael didnt touch and the extra dedication he had to the centre, his colleague team, friends and all others was amazing. I had the pleasure of having Michael as a student on some of the courses I taught and I would rather think of him as a friend and brilliant human being, even though he achieved well in every area. Nothing was ever too much for him and he constantly helped everyone. The legacy he leaves will be written into the hearts and minds of all who knew and loved him, from young to old. We talked of his love of visiting places on his cruises, and he had a great respect for all he had seen. When offering condolences to his family, I have to also offer them to the wider community as they feel the tragic loss, and pray for the departed soul of the kindest man as he makes a final cruise to his onward journey.
My condolences 🙏 go's to Kathleen and the family Micheal was lovely person and he be missed by everyone 🙏 may he RIP 🙏
